Dr Ranko Rajović, specialist in internal medicine. During the work at the Internal Diseases Institute (School of Medicine in Novi Sad) he focused on neuroendocrinology and researched the effects of the REM stage on the immune system. He is a founder of Mensa in several countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, and Serbia, and he assisted the establishment of Mensa in Macedonia and Ukraine). He is the author of the NTC learning system program based on the use of neurophysiology in pedagogy, the program being implemented in 14 countries in Europe (on the national level or in the pilot project stage). The program author is a lecturer at six university faculties in four countries (Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, Teacher Training Faculty in Belgrade, Teacher Training Faculty in Užice, Teacher Training Faculty in Ljubljana, Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić and Teacher Training Faculty in Banja Luka) and at several higher learning schools in Serbia (Colleges for Educators in Kikinda, Novi Sad, Vršac and Šabac). He wrote three books and designed two didactic games (for application of the NTC program). He participated in numerous projects related to the application of the NTC program (member of team of experts of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina for introduction of bi-lingual education; of IPA CBC (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance: Cross-Border Program) projects in Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Hungary, Montenegro, Croatia; the Early Detection and Stimulation of Children with Special Education Needs project of UNICEF and the Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska. He is a member of expert team for EU affairs of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and a member of expert team in Serbia's Association of Teachers Working with Gifted Children, and so on.
He has been a member of the Gifted Children's Committee within the global Mensa since 2002, and since 2010 the chairman of the Gifted Children's Committee of the global Mensa. He is married with four children, lives and works in Novi Sad and Ljubljana.
